Die Sammlung der Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) umfasst mehr als 120.000 Werke, die von modernster zeitgenössischer Kunst wie Yayoi Kusamas Infinity Mirrored Room - Let's Survive Forever bis hin zu europäischen Meisterwerken wie Peter Paul Rubens' Massaker an den Unschuldigen reichen. Werke etablierter und aufstrebender indigener kanadischer Künstler sind ebenso zu sehen wie die umfangreiche Sammlung der Group of Seven. Die Fotobestände zeichnen die Entwicklung und den Einfluss des Mediums mit bedeutenden Werken von Künstlern wie Garry Winogrand und Diane Arbus nach. Schwerpunktsammlungen gotischer Buchsbaumminiaturen und west- und zentralafrikanischer Kunst bereichern die vielseitigen Galerien des AGO zusätzlich.

Freier Eintritt – Der Eintritt umfasst die AGO-Sammlung und Sonderausstellungen (gilt nicht während der Vorabbesichtigungszeiten für Mitglieder und Jahreskarteninhaber). Die Ausstellung „The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse“ steht CityPASS-Gästen ab dem 7. Juli offen.

Handheld-Karten sind kostenlos erhältlich und können bei der Ankunft am Welcome Desk abgeholt werden. Sie können auch eine digitale Karte herunterladen.

Taschen und Rucksäcke, die größer als 18 x 16 x 6 Zoll sind, müssen an der Garderobe abgegeben werden; es fallen Gebühren an.

Kleinkinder und Kinderwagen sind willkommen; Kinderwagen und Buggys sind in den Galerien nicht erlaubt.

Essen: Espresso Bar (Das Bistro ist während der Renovierung des Ladens geschlossen und wird voraussichtlich im November wiedereröffnet)

Parken/Verkehrsmittel

Großartige Attraktionen in Toronto
Für jeden etwas: Kunst, Wissenschaft, Geschichte, Unterhaltung, sowie für jede Altersgruppe. Sie können sicher sein, dass Sie etwas Einzigartiges, Wertvolles und angemessenes für die Stadt selbst sehen werden.
Unverzichtbar
Der CityPASS ist einfach etwas, das man braucht, wenn man zum ersten Mal in die Stadt kommt. Die Attraktionen, die man besuchen kann, sind ein Muss, und wenn man dabei Geld spart, ist das umso besser.
Fabelhaft!
Ich fand einen CityPASS für Toronto und kaufte ihn. Danach fiel uns die ganze Reise in den Schoß! Es gibt so viel zu tun in Toronto, dass wir vorher damit überfordert waren! Der CityPASS hat so viel zu bieten für jede Art von Mensch!
Tolles Angebot! Ein Muss für alle
Toller Preis für erstaunliche Attraktionen. Benutze ihn jedes Mal, wenn Freunde und Familie von außerhalb des Landes zu Besuch kommen. Bin begeistert!
Lohnt sich für Reisende mit kleinem Budget
Normalerweise kaufe ich solche Pässe nicht, weil man eigentlich für Dinge bezahlt, die man nicht wirklich machen will. Und als Backpacker zählt jeder Dollar! Allerdings hatte ich geplant, den Toronto Zoo, den CN Tower und das Royal Ontario Museum zu besuchen und diese drei allein hätten mehr als der CityPASS gekostet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not worth the cost or time Only two attractions were worth visiting - ROM and the Aquarium. Made reservations to the CN Tower and got there early on a Sunday morning and was told to get on the end of the line which went outside, completely past the Aquarium and turned towards the baseball stadium. There were hundreds of people on the line and the wait in the sun would have still taken hours to reach the top. Why have a reservation? We would have missed our flight if we waited on the line. The boat ride was really cheesy too. ROM and Aquarium were good attractions but didn't justify the cost of the City Pass. Would have been better to include the Ceramic and Hockey Museums.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adventure Mode On Buying City Pass tickets was the best decision I made for my trip! It was so simple and easy with the City Pass app. I really appreciated the flexibility and how every day was a new adventure. I was able to experience the city in a way that was perfect for me, doing as much or as little as I wanted to do. From now on whenever I travel, I’ll look to see if there is a City Pass available in the city.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great savings!! I got the CityPass when my family came to visit, totally worth it. I could save a lot of money on the entry fee which would have been atleast 35-40% more without the CityPass. I would love to see more options getting added in the future, currently has only about 7 places to choose from. Also, the use by 9 days after first use is a very short time especially for local travellers, would be great if the validity is increased. Year long validity would definitely attract more visitors to get the CityPass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT WORTH IT! I do not recommend this pass. In my experience, it would have been much better to purchase each attraction separately. The biggest issue was the app, which is required to access your passes. It worked only on the first day, and after that it never loaded again. We then tried accessing our passes through the website on a computer, but that was just as frustrating. The verification codes they emailed us to confirm our purchase were repeatedly rejected as invalid, so we couldn’t even log into our account. I deleted and reinstalled the app, hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn’t. We ended up using a different phone just to access the passes for another attraction, but the exact same issue happened again. Customer service was practically nonexistent. The only way to contact them was through WhatsApp, which sounded convenient but turned out to be anything but. Responses were slow and unhelpful, and resolving the issue took far more time and effort than it should have. In the end, we spent far too much time troubleshooting technical problems just to save a relatively small amount of money. The stress and inconvenience completely outweighed any savings. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The app was unreliable, the website didn’t work properly, and customer support failed when we needed it most. It simply wasn’t worth all the hassle. I would not recommend this pass.
